RECREATIONAL GYM OPENED

On the occasion of the celebration of 85 anniversary for the activities of the `Institution for highs school children` in Nis and successful cooperation with Palilula Municipality the president Novakovic opened newly equipped gym for sport –recreational activities of the Institution users in the Institutional building. PhD Igor Novakovic, Palilula Municipal president, Marija Randjelovic, director of the Institution and Milan Djurdjevic, president of Palilula Assembly about the cooperation of Palilula and the Institution and celebrating the jubilee spoke on the opening.

`Institution of high school students` in Nis is educational institution where the accommodation, food and conditions for learning are provided including those for the realization of educational activities, sport and entertainment life for the students who go to school and are away from their hometowns. As one of the oldest homes in Serbia with unique and rich history this Institution is famous in Nis as English House. In two locations in the city (second one in Palilula near Grammar School `Svetozar Markovic`) during the last school year the regular high school students, who do not have other place to live while going to school, are situated. Services within the basic Institution activity are used by 305+32 students from who the great number go to schools for deficit professions. In time of holidays and summer and winter holiday free time, when the students are back homes, the Institution buildings are active like type of hostels for the accommodation of organized groups..
